This Hydrapeak review will focus on the 24-ounce slimline water bottle that I currently can’t get enough of.
You can get Hydrapeak on Amazon for as little as $20.
A low price for a life-changing product. (Okay, that was dramatic).

Hydrapeak Review – Size and Colors
Now for the fun stuff. This Hydrapeak review centers on the 24-ounce wide-mouth stainless steel water bottle. The bottle features a wide mouth opening that makes for easy filling and cleaning.
Bottle dimensions of the 24-ounce are 3” wide x 10.5 tall.
Other popular Hydrapeak sizes include 26 oz., 32 oz., and 40 oz.
The colors range from neutrals like black, gray, and white all the way to more colorful pallets like aqua, navy, sage, and variations of purple.
My Hydrapeak water bottle is a light purple color. It’s called Orchid. I will admit, I am tempted to pick up the beautiful Sage color bottle as well.
Exterior Finish
A main feature that sets this Hydrapeak water bottle apart is the durable, yet smooth finish on the exterior of the bottle. It is a powder-coated finish that will last the test of time within reason (no promises if you drop it in the gravel).
Bottle Dimensions and Fit – Hydrapeak Review
A bottle’s dimensions are a huge deal to me. I have smaller-than-average hands and look for bottles that are manageable as well as functional.
Manageable means fits in one hand okay.
Functional means carrying enough water to make having the bottle worth it.
24 oz. Hydrapeak dimensions: 3” W x 10.5” H
This size leaves about 3.5” between my thumb and other fingers when I hold it with one hand. While the bottle is manageable with one hand, it is a bit difficult for me when the bottle is filled.
The other main size marker I like to look for is the way the bottle fits into cup holders. The 24-ounce bottle has a snug fit, especially with the rubber seal at the base, but it will fit into my standard vehicle cup holder.
Lid Types
No Hydrapeak review would be complete without looking at the lid options.
The two lid types include the chug and the straw attachment. My bottle set came with the chug fixture and the straw fixture. I prefer the chug fixture because it is easier and faster for me to tilt the bottle and chug my water throughout the day instead of fighting gravity and sipping through a straw.
My water bottle also came with a rubber base sleeve to keep the stainless steel bottom clean and to prevent the annoying clicking sound of steel when set down.
Aesthetic
One of my favorite subjects to discuss and judge when it comes to any product is aesthetics.
My overall Hydrapeak review of the aesthetic is that the bottle gets a 7/10. It’s not the sleekest bottle on the market, but it also isn’t $50.
I enjoy the monochromatic Hydrapeak bottles more compared to the bottles with black lid fixtures. I’d rank this bottle a 10/10 in the functionality department.
Hydrapeak Review – Material What is 18/8 Steel?
The Hydrapeak water bottle is made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel. This means that 18% of the water bottle is chrome, 8% percent is nickel, and the rest is stainless steel.
To my understanding, 18/8 stainless steel is one of the most common food-grade stainless steel out there. Think of it like a mid-grade rating. 18/8 is not as resilient or expensive as 18/10 stainless steel, but not as cheap and fragile as 18/5.
Why add chrome and nickel to steel products, you ask? These additives make stainless steel products stronger and less vulnerable to corrosion over time.
As a result, the inside of my Hydrapeak is easy to clean and doesn’t hold onto flavors from previous liquids. I routinely spice up my water with a wedge or two of lemon, and it’s always easy to rinse it and switch back to regular water.
18/8 steel = a long-lasting product.
Double Wall Vacuum Insulation Functionality
In addition to being stainless steel, the Hydrapeak water bottle features a double wall structure to keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot.
The Hydrapeak water bottle is rated to keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours and hot drinks hot for 12 hours. Personally, I’m a room-temperature water girl, so I haven’t tested these ratings. Plus, I sure hope you are consuming your water, tea, or coffee in less than 12 – 24 hours!
I will say when I refill my Hydrapeak with the chilled fountain water in the office, the cool water lasts for HOURS, chilling me to the bone with every sip.
What Does Vacuum Insulated Mean?
Now, what exactly is a vacuum-insulated water bottle? I had to look this up to understand it.
Essentially, the two layers of metal that form the double wall of the Hydrapeak water bottle create a seal around a thin empty space. This space is our vacuum.
Since the vacuum or gap prevents molecules from the contents of the water bottle from colliding with the exterior layer of the bottle, heat is transferred at a much lower pace.
Resulting in the liquid maintaining its starting temperature for longer.
Where to Buy Hydrapeak Water Bottles
You can easily find the Hydrapeak water bottle on Amazon.
The monochromatic bottles are available in the 26-ounce size. Keep in mind this size is a half inch wider than the 24-ounce bottle. The 24-ounce bottle is available with the regular black lid in a variety of colors.
If you’d prefer to get it in person, there are usually quite a few options at Marshall’s.
Best Water Bottles for the Gym?
The best water bottles for gym time hold adequate amounts of water and make it easy to quickly hydrate between sets.
The Hydrapeak water bottle with the chug lid would make an excellent water bottle for the gym. The rubber sleeve on the bottom makes the bottle quiet and discreet and makes it less likely to fall over.
Bottom Line
The bottom line of this Hydrapeak review is this bottle is a great option for a medium price. I can say that building my discipline to reach the goal of drinking a gallon of water a day has been a lot easier, thanks to my Hydrapeak.
