I hate to say it, but the Honest Beauty Everyday Radiance Vitamin C Moisturizer is not my favorite product.
She’s cute, EWG-verified, and at a reasonable price for a clean beauty product, but something is off about the formula for me. My main complaint is how tight my skin feels after application.
If you’re looking for a new clean beauty moisturizer, I’d highly recommend buying the Hydrogel Cream by Honest Beauty. The Hydrogel formula feels much nicer on my skin compared to the Everyday Radiance Moisturizer.
Plus, it’s a more affordable product at $21.99 vs. 29.99 for the Radiance Moisturizer. Both products come in 1.7 oz. containers.
Everyday Radiance Vitamin C Moisturizer Review
The Everyday Radiance Moisturizer almost feels like I’m wearing a face mask instead of a daily, suitable for AM/PM moisturizer. I wish I knew which ingredient was the culprit.
The product sits on the top of my skin instead of sinking in and absorbing like a true moisturizer. The feeling only lasts a little while, though. And I will add that my skin reacted well to this product despite the feeling of being off for me.
As for the things I loved about the Honest Beauty Everyday Radiance Vitamin C Moisturizer, I loved that it is:
- Fragrance-free
- Convenient to apply with the pump applicator
- Formulated without parabens, phthalates, PEGs, mineral oil, and synthetic dyes
- Non-comedogenic
Everyday Radiance Ingredients
This Honest Beauty moisturizer is formulated with:
- Vitamin C + Pearl – for radiance
- Vitamin B3 / Niacinamide – for helping to improve the appearance of skin tone
- Squalane – for emollient properties that moisturize and soften the skin

How My Skin Reacted
Complaints aside, I did notice my skin looked hydrated and clear after a week or two of use. For reference, my skin type is dry.
I also noticed my skin tone appeared even and smooth throughout use. For this reason, even though I didn’t love the way the moisturizer felt, I used my bottle up before purchasing another Hydrogel Cream.
Is the Honest Beauty Everyday Radiance Vitamin C Moisturizer Worth It?
In a word, no. I don’t think this product is worth the purchase. The Hydrogel Cream by Honest Beauty is a much better product, in my experience, and comes at a much cheaper price.
It’s sad when you want to like a product, but it just doesn’t do the trick for you. In terms of the Honest Beauty brand, I will remain a fan. Founded by celebrity and mom Jessica Alba, Honest Beauty has been a pioneer in the clean beauty space.
Nowadays you can go to Target and see a ton of clean beauty brands lining the shelves, but back in 2008 when she got the idea for the company, she was on the cutting edge, filling a need in the marketplace when she launched later in 2012.
